Getting Ready for Success

Before diving into game mechanics and 3D design, let's make sure you have everything in place. This preparation phase sets you up for the best possible learning experience when our programs begin in fall 2025.

Define Your Path

Game mechanics fascinate some students, while others gravitate toward 3D modeling and visual design. Take time now to explore both areas and identify what excites you most.

System Requirements

Our programs use industry-standard software including Unity, Blender, and Maya. Check that your computer meets minimum specifications - we'll send detailed requirements after enrollment.

Foundation Knowledge

No prior experience required, but familiarity with basic computer operations and file management helps. If you've never used design software, consider watching intro tutorials this summer.

Time Commitment

Plan for 15-20 hours weekly including live sessions, projects, and practice. Most students find evening and weekend schedules work well with other commitments.

Essential Preparations

Getting these basics sorted early means you can focus entirely on learning when classes start. Most students appreciate having this checklist to work through over the summer months.

  • Computer with dedicated graphics card (GTX 1060 or equivalent minimum)
  • Stable internet connection for live sessions and file downloads
  • Quiet workspace where you can focus during evening sessions
  • Basic drawing tablet recommended but not required initially
  • Portfolio folder to organize your projects throughout the program

We'll provide software licenses and detailed setup instructions closer to the program start date. Students often ask about costs - most tools we use have student versions or we provide educational licenses.

Expert Instruction Approach

Our instructors have designed this program based on years of teaching experience in Egypt's growing game development scene. They know exactly where students typically struggle and have developed methods to address those challenges early.

Each instructor brings industry experience from working with regional studios and international clients. But more importantly, they understand how to teach complex technical concepts in ways that actually stick.

Every student gets individual attention during the program - not just group sessions. This personal approach helps identify your strengths and address specific areas where you need extra support.

Ready to Begin Your Journey?

Our next program intake begins October 2025, with enrollment opening in August. This gives you plenty of time to prepare properly and join us with confidence in your setup and goals.
